Changing your vote is effectively retracting your vote, which imo should mean you cross it out. Not having to announce a new vote means everyone has to be on the lookout for ninja edits, and in a game like this that requires a lot of effort. I could have sworn that the day should have ended in a draw, but Noble got lynched anyway, it took me re counting 3 times to realize I was wrong, and even then I didn’t realize it was due to Lucas making a stealth switch.
Even from the winning team, I first thought it was a little weak…I didn’t complain(and won’t) because it wasn’t against the rules, and I wanted the game to end yesterday so I wouldn’t have to worry. Although it did occur that something like this would happen, and in future games I agree it shouldn’t be allowed. There is far too much to keep track of in addition to ninja edits.
A team should use everything in their power if they want to win, and people do. That’s what makes Eve politics awesome, it’s also what makes the real world suck and why we need regulations. But damn, those last minute ninja edits were nerve racking as it is. It will be even worse as ninja posts before the day ends /o\
The best way would really to have some sort of third-party link where people could vote and have it displayed clearly. It would also make it easier to martin. Like a google-docs (but without the option to edit other peoples text ofcourse)
I’m down for the triton game, but im still unsure how to join and stuff. I’m out on mobile so extensive googling will be annoying and time consuming. I’ll sign up on their website tho. I’m spending today with my girlfriend, so I guess I’ll just check back in… whenever about this triton game.
Hey all! I wanted to let you guys know that Enginish and I have gotten to work on constructing a minecraft wolf game! We are designing the game to function for 14 players. We will post a sign up page once we sort out a few more game design elements. We have finished most of the hefty redstone work, so now we need to fine tune the major systems. The next major step is building the village and the major structures around it. I’m not sure what kind of time frame I can give on when it will be finished, but we are making surprising pace, so… soonish I hope???
In the meantime, check out this screenshot of our progress.
I had masses of lined up redstone repeaters in my castle operating the lights but when I moved it onto the server it caused really bad lag despite the fact they were permanently on. Maybe it’s been optimised since then though (couple of years ago).
