The Wolf Game - SS Black Swan - Day 6 - Everybody Dies, Traitors Win

{… you can’t shoot an AI in the fore head…}

Bullet wasted on holographic projection, ark lives. :stuck_out_tongue:

Bang! Cybercritic fires a bullet right into the heart of the shipboard AI computer core. Bright red coolant fluid sprays across the walls and dull grey computer parts shatter into a million pieces. Terminals across the entire ship flicker and die.

Without careful computer monitoring ship systems began to go haywire. Alarms started ringing as critical systems overloaded causing fires break out, Cybercritic felt a slight rumble through the deck plates as something exploded deep in the belly of the ship

Arkenbrien has been shot by cybercritic

“God damn AI, i should have pissed on it, would have been less dramatic…” critic mumbled as he put out the fire on his sleave

Well the world hasn’t come to an end. No time to waste.

New lynch target - The_Sane (When assuming Arken as a wolf, The_Sane is suspicious due to lack of communication between them)
“For peace of mind”

I’m also going to go with sane, mostly due to the fact that xamino voted for him and he’s the other most likely human on my list.

And as we might need more ammo if we lynch a human or ark was human.
Weapons Locker

The_Sane is also on top of my list now that Arkenbrien ist dead. Will explain reasons later
(Med Bay Crew can confirm that he was on my list even before this bandwaggoning started)

Repairs:
For now i will go to Sonar

I think we should try to nominate a “most likely human” and send him to the Weapons locker so that we have one more gun.
Everyone else then him or cyber should be immedatly lynched if they try to go to the weaponslocker.

The questions is: How should we handle that heli pad.
We won’t find enough trusted humans for it I think - is it useful if there a wolfs in it?

Not sure if we should man the CIC at all. It won’t reveal much Information this late in the game and the desperate measure should be controlled by a human.
“Trusted humans” are more important in other Systems —> don’t send anyone in there?

@The_Sane @The_Sane_Test (lol) any explanations?

Well, he ain’t talking, I’ll be in the Crew Quarters, right after I fix them.

Late reply / defence, sorry. Wasn’t feeling well yesterday. AAA was active and shooting hostiles overnight.

He never seemed to say much. Looking at the op it turns out he has one of the highest post counts but throughout the game he never really said anything of substance imo. Hopefully that’s indicative of a wolf laying low and cyber chose well, but providing that as a reason that I must be a wolf is weak. In fact all 3 votes against me have weak reasoning.

Pendrokar, why do you deserve to be trusted? I think I remember Enginish basing his trust on the “magic word” (or was that someone else?) which is tenuous but since then I don’t know of any other reason to list you as a likely human. Last night wolves attacked dekaku on CQ despite it being the most obvious target you could have chosen to protect. If wolves were aware of dekaku being safe to kill then I think the blame should rest at one of your feet, and Enginish is much higher on my trust list than you.

The other 2 votes on me…

cyber has been pushed into the spotlight a couple of times already and he hasn’t done anything overtly suspicious, also his choice of target today was a good one imo, I don’t appreciate the vote against me but I don’t think its malicious.

If Nos_Fi cares to explain his reasons then I’d like it be done sooner rather than “later”.

I confirm.

It is, but only Lysk has actually publicly posted the ‘magic words’. Nos_Fi even knew that it isn’t a single word and had argued publicly with Arkenbrien, if we assume that Ark was a wolf.

Enginish already stopped using the magic words for human confirmation. So you can either spell them out or give your thoughts on Xamino.

It is only kinda my fault. Enginish was quiet during the night, so I only protected myself and let him choose. Hey it was my turn to fly that thing anyway.

I’m utterly confused. Will come back later and see if anything of importance happened, will decide my lynch vote and my assignment vote then.

I understand that you weren’t the one that chose, the issue for me is who knew about that choice. I was hoping / assuming that dekaku would be protected last night and that an attack on him would be foolish. But no, he wasn’t protected, making the wolves either quite lucky or they had prior knowledge of the protect target.

My thoughts on Xamino…

  • Argued for RNG which I didn’t want.
  • Avoided taking a stand in some lynch votes.
  • “Safe” system choices (Propulsion / med bay). Not appearing to take control of anything potentially powerful.

Perhaps there is something more definitive in his actions in med bay but all I see is that hes “playing it safe”, which is a valid tactic for a wolf or a human. Maybe cyber can point to something I’m missing? Seeing as xamino is his 2nd most likely human…

Xamino is neutral and trying very hard to be so, could be a wolf or human, most of his votes were no votes. He agreed to go ahead with a kill vote on Lysk in med-bay, but it really doesn’t mean much if he realized that Lysk had the ability to shutdown any system, something I failed to notice.

The fact that nobody is arguing for your life, bothers a bit. Please provide your suspects Sane.

Suspects are mostly everyone still… I guess in order starting with people I trust the least:

  1. Pendrokar (circumstantial… but there’s a good chance wolves knew who was being protected)
  2. Nos_Fi (still waiting on his reasoning for joining the bandwagon)
  3. Lysk (has pushed for bad lynches and avoided being lynched himself)
  4. xamino (too neutral, too risky to lynch unless we really want to take a stab in the dark)
  5. cybercritic (active and talking, rather than pushing hard for certain lynches)
  6. Enginish (too trusting, but actions seem human)

If people really don’t trust me then there’s no point me suggesting an alternate lynch target, as no one will follow me. I guess I’ll wait until someone else makes a suggestion.
