The whole time I have been on this train I have been silent, just watching and listening to what everyone has said. The first day on the train when I came upon everyone attacking Ovog I did nothing - just stood off to the side and watched. If I spoke up said something would he still be alive today. Now there was another death by night, Mr. LyskTrevise. I heard he was a very skillful at what he does. What a shame. I must be on watch even more so now. Who can one trust aboard this train?

I guess there’s no item list? How does this work, do we suggest items, can i have a wolf detector or a silver bullet or something?

uhm, Maenas pass does not look very pleasant, perhaps we should just stay at Redwater? Then again, there is bound to be more interesting things as we progress. Maenas Pass

ā€œQuite the turn of events don’t you think my fellow men? That would make one disappearance, and two murders, although some of you bastards might think that it was one murder and one lynch. But it’s murder, because something was allowed to kill another one of us in the night. So killing in the fit of rage and hysteria yet again today will not bode well, I suggest you keep your thoughts to yourself on who did this till you’ve some proof.ā€ Kreydis would state as he prepares for the coming meal regardless of the deaths.

ā€œSo if any of you are a renown or would be detective, I’d much appreciate it if you would kindly explain how such a beast got on this train, let alone how it got and left a locked room.ā€ He would mutter towards the eating passengers, ā€œPass the butter please.ā€

ā€œOh and if anyone cares to take a stroll with me through the market, feel free to keep me company. We might learn something about each other before another person gets to sleep forever. After my trip however, I highly expect that we be on our way towards our destination, with the sad but humble crawl through Maenas Pass.ā€ He says as he spits bits and pieces of pancake in front of him.

I will vote for us to stay at Redwater for now. If the market place won’t turn out to be that impressive I will change my vote later. And I will monitor the discussion further before voting anyone.

Redwater

I’m on a cellphone and it seems I only managed to make it italic in the previous post…

I didn’t receive many trading requests over night, so I guess I should be a little more clear about how this works. You may buy any reasonable item from town. Something like a wolf detector someone mentioned above is not available, because there is no such thing! A more reasonable idea might be to buy climbing equipment to descend stonesmile canyon (doing this will reveal the canyon is too deep).

Yesterday after Flavien went missing Lomsor joined the discussion for an hour, but then went back into his cabin, he hoped for it to only have been an accident and continued the work on the plans for his newest invention he wanted to start testing once back in the east. When he decided to take a break he only noticed it has been more then a day … he must have dozed of on his chair … the noise of a moving train can be quite soothing to some.
Sadly … only bad news awaited him outside. Two more people dead.

I’m quite sure Ovog was a human. But first day Lynches have a low chance of hitting a wolf anyway.

I vote to continue our journey to Maenas Pass. There must be something in the next stations that can help us to ether identify or otherwise help us against the wolves.

My vote goes to Lucas Fin. Yesterday he started the vote pile on Arkenbrien and today he votes for our train to not advance. I don’t see how staying here for another day will help us against the wolves. Sure there isn’t anything helping them either but I think we should move forward. I also don’t see how the marketplace can change from one to another day. And also even if it turns out to be impressive, how staying one additional day is of any use. If people want to trade they may as well do it today.

Using my Telescope I can see Maenas Pass from here![/quote]

Working a good majority of today. I’ll post my thoughts when I get off (8-9 hours from now)

Topper politely suggests that with murders happening on the train it would be wise to get to our destination as quick as possible. That only seems to be through Maenas Pass at this time.

No lynch vote for now.

Check the day start post for some additional information (Lysk’s inventory).

So where does the dough go? I wouldn’t exactly mind being 60 bucks richer, you know.
Is it a dibs kind of thing? In which case, dibs.

I vote to advance to Maenas Pass.
Still ruminating on the vote. I’ll post something substantive later maybe.
In the meantime, I’ll go and peruse the markets for some local beer or something. Maybe a postcard.

Several passengers stare at Enginish as he talks openly about graverobbing. They walk away muttering amongst themselves.

After talking to the conductor, cybercritic spoke loudly into the crowd, ā€œI think we should auction off the deceased belongings, he has no use for them and we have a murderer to deal with, as for his money and the money from the auction, leave that for his family. Then after spending some time in the market, cybercritic realized that these are some strange merchants, they don’t present anything for sale, but ask of what you needā€¦ā€

He would stare at Enginish before speaking up about the belongings, ā€œI would very much be disgusted if you got the money, considering that you’re one of the folks who up and murdered another passenger, which rightly didn’t solve the murders!ā€

ā€œI vote that the money goes to someone more reasonable, as such Lomsor should get the money, as he seems to be the least insane of you lot. I however would love the to have the chessboard if no one would mind. Not to say the least about that poison, before that is stolen I would vouch that I take it and dispose of it myself. Should someone have a problem with my proposals, speak up now or let the deeds be done.ā€ Kreydis speeches on about the belongings of the recently deceased.

Just to explain my silence: I’ll post something tomorrow, kind of busy today. Plus I don’t have anything to add (yet). :stuck_out_tongue:

I am however also very sure that we should continue on to Maenas Pass. Otherwise I’ll never get to my goal…

This item system is anything but clear.

So you’re saying I can think of any random thing and attempt to buy it, and assuming you find that item ā€œreasonableā€ then I can use that nondescript item for a nondescript purpose which may or may not actually affect game. If I bought a knife could I stab someone with it? Or if I bought a piece of rope could I tie someone up for a day?

I don’t understand.

Welcome to roleplaying.
