Netflix Cancels SENSE8

In a press release yesterday, Cindy Holland, VP Netflix original content wrote:
“After 23 episodes, 16 cities and 13 countries, the story of the Sense8 cluster is coming to an end. It is everything we and the fans dreamed it would be: bold, emotional, stunning, kick ass, and outright unforgettable. Never has there been a more truly global show with an equally diverse and international cast and crew, which is only mirrored by the connected community of deeply passionate fans all around the world. We thank Lana, Lilly, Joe and Grant for their vision, and the entire cast and crew for their craftsmanship and commitment."
I hope there will be an episode to finish the show and not just leave us hanging. >:/

We don’t like leaving a story unfinished. We learned a lot from Sense and we’re going to try not to do this in the future.
With all shows, sometimes they will be big hits & go for many seasons, sometimes they won’t find their audience.It always be an amazing ride
Sense8 is a beautiful show that is very expensive to make, and not enough people tuned in to keep it going.
It’s just too expensive to produce a meaningful ending that would do justice to the rest of the series.
Grumble grumble. An ending would have been nice.
On jms news he speaks of how he thought the show would go. There are other wrighters (spelling) so who knows …
