Tape drives are fast … but only from the SSD and SSHD. Everything else is too slow to feed it.
Also stupid video controls are in the way.

We get it. You need money to operate your business. But we hate the rubbish that you push in front of us so badly that we’ve been using technology to get rid of it. So put up only those ads that we’re willing to tolerate. Either way, you get back to providing a service to the people of the world instead of exploiting our eyeballs for cash. We’d really appreciate it.

Music is important in films…
but 4$ monthly is probably 10-1000 times their ad income for an individual. bastards, they are.
forbes started doing something similar a month ago or so, but they immediatley started serving malware in their ads and they shitcanned their system because of the bad press.

Ads are the no. 1 reason I stopped my subscription to Pop Sci. They took up easily 1/3 of the magazine’s content. Too bad ad blocker doesn’t work on physical copies. Or TV for that matter.
