I just ordered some nice shelving primarily to have somewhere to display my model Pride of Hiigara. Strangely happy to spend so much money on a game that’s over a decade old.
A friend of mine has recently started collecting Star Wars figurines and I questioned why you would spend so much money on something like that… but perhaps this is the start of my own spaceship collection (though unfortunately no one seems to make high quality space ship models like they do 1:6 scale figures 
)

I was going by the countdown timer app, which includes the hours. Technically, it was a 7 days and 22 hours, but all I saw was 7 days. Sorry for the false alarm.

I’ll get steam codes in the CE, as there isn’t any jewel-case version AFAIK. Unfortunately, that means I won’t be able to preload (if available, I’m not sure). Which means I probably won’t get to play until Friday/Saturday. 
After seeing unboxings of preview CEs sent to journalists I’ve cancelled my CE order with Amazon and just bought the game on Steam.
Rather unimpressed with the model mothership… Not worth £99 to me.
Blasphemy! Just checked a video out and it looked pretty good to me, though the one I saw didn’t plug it in to see the pretty lights. Besides, you get more than just the ship.
The model doesnt look that great, kinda disappointed with the lighting effects too. Also, no steel cover box or a hard disk copy of the game? Like, they send you a box with a code in it? Glad I did not buy a CE :\ I watched the IGN unboxing btw, they did a really good job of showing off the stuff in detail (including lights).
Just watched that one. I admit I was hoping for more than just the bay openings / engines to light up (like maybe a scattering of lights and windows across the ship as well) but the detailing still looks good to me.
