im sorry @Enginish
so sorry bro.
{⦠I told that idoit cyber you canāt kill an AI with a gunā¦}
GG, everybody!
I did it! Wooooo
I have ascended, none may challenge me!
Ya ya ⦠I learned a lot in this game.
Hereās the QT: http://www.quicktopic.com/51/H/VRh46KWTQjaiV
Oh wait, itās already posted. Well, here it is again.
you guys should listen to me more often
We did listen to you⦠past 2 games at least.
OMFG⦠Kreydis was a traitor?
GG guys, you played a clever game.
I knew I shouldnāt have gone easy on you @LyskTrevise, I had a feeling martin was going to make you a wolf. But a promise was a promise, I wasnāt responsible for your death this time
EDIT: (Damn you Martin, you canāt kill me now) This does mean Iām just going to kill you first next time though
I had a feeling you were a wolf after I died Lysk -.-
Dying night 1 was pretty fun though. Someone please try and remind me not to post so much next timeā¦
Yeah, we were pretty bummed out about that last minute first day lynch.
You have no right to be shocked. Next time Iāll organize a lynch and give you 2 hours to respond to multiple accusations on a day you work sudden night shift.
P.S. Doesnāt take to much foresight to know that taking 2 out of 8 or so systems is a terrible idea when you are literally told that you are being chased down and will die without your systems online pre-day 1.
Damn. Not getting the gun and using the Weapons locker was part of the action plan in case we try to kill Lysk by injection.
We only didnāt do it because ānot sure enoughā
Well played Lysk and Sane
Oh, my.
Lysk
The funny thing is itās super easy to prove xamino is a human. The game would have ended unless either Kreydis or Noble was a wolf. And xamino happily voted for both of them.
Holy ****, how could I miss that? Nooooā¦
I was so close. At least this teaches me to not let āpersonal attacksā get to me and keep firm to my theories. Anything posted after a theory must be thrown out for consideration unless supported by GM facts.
Good game traitors! Thanks martindevans for hosting, was fun!
Yeah I do agree, this game was excellently GMed as usual by martin, but i think he had an especially difficult time due to all the different ideas he was trying with the subsystems, and he was continually frustrated by the crew quarters. So i think he deserves a huge amount of appreciation from all of us.
Yes? >.>
Oh donāt think you were sneaky Lysk, it was more how cybercritic and Xamino tried to lynch you. Xamino raised his suspicion without acting and voted only after cybercritic => Suspicious. Critic votes to lynch only after someone else shares his suspicion, I viewed that as simply having a human target that wolves would want to get rid of.
Damn I thought Lysk said those words, but it turns out he was quoting Nos_Fi!
We resorted to the āmagic wordsā because we had nothing else to go on.
Dude, I spent the rest of the game thinking Iād lynched a human. I guess so did everyone else, which meant our wolf count was off.
I pointed this out several times on day 1. We played recklessly, and it cost us.
Edit: Iād also point out that I got shafted too in this game. Had that one day not have been extended several times, thereād have been no lynch mob on me, and Lysk would have been dead (I think).
Sorry Skyentist⦠it had to be someone . You were quite unlucky that I changed my mind at the last second, but then again Matt didnāt really get much of a reprieve either, instead he was lynched the next day.
Oh man Iām so glad someone got this. The whole ārandom distribution one or or two systemsā thing was so frustrating!
That was random, seriously. I was pretty happy about that roll of the dice though!
Thanks
That really means a lot, because Iām continually worried people will get fed up of the little mistakes I make as GM. For example I managed to piss off the wolves with my mishandling of a question about subsystems this game >_<
Yep. As much as I like the subsystem idea it makes nights super complex to manage and leads to a lot of confusion for players as basically the first 2-3 nights everyone gets a totally new role I have to explain to them in detail every night! Next game (soon) will be more traditional role based (with a twist, of course ;))
The Crew Quarters really needs a total redesign - but coming up with designs for a balanced seer type role is hard. I think the fundamental problem is that wolves will kill a seer ASAP, and the wolves know who is in control of the CQ all the time which renders it extremely dangerous to the point of being nearly useless for humans. I donāt believe the humans got any useful info out of CQ this game.
Of course I could simply not include a seer. Seer is not a role which I always include in my role based games so I could just drop the idea of a seer type subsystem altogether if I decided that Seer+Subsystem is a fundamentally incompatible combination.
You probably saw my conversation in the quicktopic where I was mulling over whether or not I should do away with the magic word metagaming nonsense entirely (by publicly revealing the loyalist and traitor messages in the thread). I decided against it in this game, since magic words had become a core part of the game, but in the future I think I shall publish the messages in the initial post to do away with this particular metagaming.
Yep! The entire point of the RP this time was to encourage you to repair systems to defend the ship. In fact I donāt think I was harsh enough, the only consequence of damage was that you had to repair things again - Iād have liked more panicking over critically failing systems etc.
How burned out are people feeling? Should I organise one almost right away (probably 2-3 weeks for me to design everything) or should I leave it a while longer (perhaps one over christmas)?
