Oh boy, I’d say you need 3 hours just to comprehend the whole 250 game posts. So I did a quick look and I’ve had enough. So all I am going to say that Lysk has been way too helpful/active for a wolf.

I was at the ISS game, so I can understand Enginish’s position, it is not something a wolf would die for. Definitely not this early. Enginish’s vote seems like self-defence than anything else.

Thinking about it, human is pretty ubiquitous as “the good guy” in these games. So maybe it was just a mistake.

Well, you guys have two options if you are acting on my thesis. Lynch me or LyskTrevise. Whomever you lynch you should check the alignment. Ideally this means more people in the medical bay.

If you lynch me I’ll turn out to be human / crew / non-wolf. If you lynch Lysk and he turns out human you can still lynch me, in which case I cost us two lynches (and I’ll still turn out to be human). If he turns out wolf… well, here is hoping.

I’m not sure what I would have to gain if Lysk doesn’t turn out to be wolf. You’ll obviously have to / should lynch me next then.

1. I can’t believe I’ve come to check the thread at the end of the day and find myself the lynch target. Again. For like the third time in a row. If my defenses were enough for you all last time, I don’t understand why you would suddenly change your minds. Obviously somebody wants me dead.
2. Xaminos theory is based on a load of bunk that he cobbled together from mine and sanes first posts of the day on DAY ONE! I mean literally I explained thst the subsystems were dangerous, and Matt was the person who exposed me personally to how easily they can be manipulated on ISS Relatively Fast, not because I had some secret thing against him. And sane and Matt have a ritual where they always suspect each other on day one much like cise and I both do every game. This theory basically amounts to day one random guessing…
3. Since Xaminos theory is so shaky, and multiple people voted for me before Xamino himself thought he was
   confident enough to vote for me, I can only assume that people are voting for me based on ulterior motives. For example, cybercritic has been voting for me literally every day since day 1 because I almost got him killed. And engine is upset that topper and I shut down CIC last night.
   In the end, this vote comes as a shock to me and I can’t believe how everyone just accepted Xaminos theory, and if Xaminos is a human he should also be worried how easily it was accepted.
   That said, I have to vote for someone, and I have have no idea what the tally is at but since pendrokar voted for him already:

Day Extended By +24 Hours

Once again, I’ve got to extend the day due to forum troubles. Lysk contacted me on steam to say he cannot sign in to the forums at all D:

I am having a hard time logging on for some reason. The dialoge window wouldn’t go away when I hit the log on button, but when I closed it out and went to the forums, it logged me as on.

What happens is, I log out, and try to log back in, and the dialogue box pops up. I enter in name/pword, and hit log on. Nothing happens, but when I close the box and go to community, it says I’m logged on.

Hi, @Arkenbrien … Maybe you could tell me what you did to get around your problem? I have this same issue. I am using firefox and login/pw as well and am posting this from internet explorer (which I switched to specifically just to see if I can make this post… which is seems I can.) Any help appreciated.

What the heck does that even mean? You have refused to vote in any meaningful way all game, which is the most wolf-like manner of all if you ask me. Refusal to participate removes any suspicions of yourself and keeping attention off of you, while at the same time providing no hints to your alignment one way or the other… I on the other hand have been actively working and providing theories all game…

On day one LyskTrevise immediately points out that Mattk50 had been dangerous in the last game. However, he does not vote for him. As a wolf, this could be seen as placing the seeds of doubt. Not voting for him keeps the suspicion even lower though.

Really? Dude. Everyone here that played ISS Relatively fast will tell you (yourself included should realize this) that that game was fucked from the start in part because the wolves, mattk50 in particular, expertly manipulated the subsystems. I specifically didn’t state that Mattk50 was dangerous, I said the SUBSYSTEMs were dangerous. In fact, you yourself liked that very posted along with skyentist.

Also, we should carefully consider how we split the repair up this game. Last game we saw that we were woefully out maneuvered by the wolves at every turn because they knew everything. We MUST find a way to isolate things such that wolves will not have a majority vote over any system, and that even if they know anything they can not act upon any information they might receive.

This sub system mechanic is especially dangerous and there are a lot of new players this game.

So instead The_Sane votes for him in the hope of starting a random bandwagon on him to lynch a potentially capable human player right on day one.

Day two muddles the waters a bit. But it ends with the death of Mattk50, a now proven human.

Yeah, after Cybercritic and Mattk50 both piled onto me with four hours remaining in the day to form a majority vote while the rest of you, yourself included, sat back with your thumbs up your arses because you didn’t want to make the hard decisions about who we humans should lynch in order to find out who the wolves are. That situation was the result of your inaction, not my malicious intent. I was FORCED to vote for him if I didn’t want to die. AND he gave NO reasons for voting for me, twice! You’ll also note that many of the same people who voted for Matt are now voting for me… What changed their heart, you might wonder?

Which would explain LyskTrevise’s vote for Cybercritic on day two when the two voted for each other.

On both days there has been a real voting fight going on between LyskTrevise and The_Sane versus Cybercritic.

I wont speak for Sane, but I gave very good and thought out reasoning for all of my votes including the ones against Cybercritic…

Well this is going nowhere fast. Im going to go with Skyentist’s hunch that cyber and topper had a reason to protect one another and since cyber already has one vote on him…

My vote yesterday was due to how out of nowhere the voting on Lysk came, it backfired, leaving me clueless.

And again today… I don’t get it. Both days have seen almost no voting except for in the final hours, none of which can be blamed on me, given that I’ve been discussing and voting almost non-stop since the game went live.

Again, I don’t see how this incriminates me. In fact, it further proves that my arguments have been sufficiently valid enough to prove my humanness with reasonable success…

Second, Lysk barges into the QC thread and very quickly suggests that he should be a target of CQ for the night, I’m assuming this is so he can claim that he was “cleared” by the CQ, however CQ is not designed for this and his clearance is very weak, but yet he still brought it up in this thread.

Actually I did mention it, just not in that particular post. I did mention in my very first post of that day that CQ was basically useless at proving anyone’s innocence. I merely brought it up in my defense as “just one more reason not to lynch me”. Topper asked someone to confirm it, and so Enginish did.

Come on, its not like I made the decision by myself. Engine and Cosmos both supported scanning me, and cyber and nos didn’t object to it, although they could have change the scan if they wanted to. To suggest that this was some sort of ploy is preposterous as all of us in the crew quarters realized immediately that night that no matter who we scanned it wasn’t going to be able to prove anything.

I don’t see why people keep bringing this up.

Third, Lysk comes out of the CQ and claims that it’s “useless”, yes, the CQ is useless for the wolves, it’s a very powerful system in human hands and it demands that wolves put someone in CQ if there is a human there.

Why don’t you ask King Cosmos how useful he found it? Or Nos Fi? Or Enginish? Or anyone else? If there is one person on it, they are guaranteed to die that night unless they are a wolf. If they don’t die, and they aren’t a wolf, we still can’t believe their scans because they aren’t made public which means you could literally make up any number of scan results and pass them off as truths. If you have multiple people on the system, then you cant trust the other one to not be a wolf, so thus the system is useless. I sincerely doubt you thought about this literally at all. In fact, I feel like you are just typing whatever pops into your head at any given moment just to vote for me.

If you’re right, then I’m more likely to die. If he’s a wolf, he would have sole ownership of the Generator if I get bumped off tonight, which is a fairly important system.

And if I die today you will be in sole control of the generator, which is fairly convenient since you were so gung-o about shutting down a system last night… Not to mention all the stuff I called you out on during Day one…

You’re right, someone else should join it that way your trigger happy ass can’t have access to a gun, because knowing you, you would just shoot everyone in the game.

Imagine that a single person had given repaired crew quarters on day 1. Would it have been a good idea to publicly reveal the function of CQ or keep it secret? Which would enable the system to be used more effectively?

In fairness, we all basically knew immediately what it did from the outset, which is why it was voted for in the first place…

Another point: powering down the CIC had no foreseeable benefits to you yesterday, if you’re a human. If I were a wolf, any mis-use of the system could easily have been traced back to me today. If I’m a human (I am) you’re denying the humans the use of a strong system.

Maybe so, and I was hesitant to do so of course, but I felt that CIC was probably extremely powerful (perhaps being able to coordinate a strike from friendly or enemy ships to destroy a system, or perhaps kill all of the occupants of said system. I didn’t think it was wise to let someone as clever as you be solo on CIC, given your unwillingness to come forward. But it is what it is now.

I’m not really liking how quickly this bandwagon developing, but the reasoning seems sound.

While Matt didn’t explain his suspicions of Lysk very well now that he is confirmed human (albeit a dead one) I think his opinion should carry a bit more weight. Generally speaking Matt and I talk a lot during wolf games, and I think the same can be said of him and Lysk. So as far as judges of character go I think Matt makes a pretty good one.

First of all, the only contact I had with matt was me asking him if he was a wolf casually like I do with everyone I know in literally every game. I asked Enginish, I ask you, I asked matt. I usually ask Cise, but he didn’t want to play (although no matter what Cise says I always assume hes a wolf anyways). I don’t see how I can defend myself against what is basically a guess, and I don’t see why you should follow one either…

Well if you’re a wolf then you take out one of the most active and experienced players in the game still remaining… That’s kind of a big deal, no?

Sorry for the humongous post. Funny how when everyone thinks the day is about to end there is a flurry of activity but never when there is time remaining… Suspicious, no? Please read and consider what I’ve said. I don’t think Xamino is a good lynch target today (surprisingly, I don’t think of myself as a good lynch target either >:l), and I have only voted for him in self defense. Actually no. I hadn’t and still have not properly read all posts of the thread so had to go on a quick pick. The word of today is loyalty. If you search ‘loyal’ in this thread, then you find Lysk being the first to mention it. Sure, everyone is human aboard this ship. There is just the loyalists and the traitors.

My latests suspicion on Xamino comes from the fact that he simply ‘raises’ his suspicion thesis and does not act upon it. Instead waits for someone like cybercritic to supposedly reaffirm his assessment. Yet still acts it is just a theory, regardless if it is about killing the most active player.

Then quickly Xamino’s thesis just comes down to simply finding out which one of them is human.

I call upon Enginish to retract his self-defense vote.

Honestly, I have no clue. I’ve spent most of the game explaining away to people that I’m not a wolf during the dying moments of the day, and only during day one have I actually been able to analyze people. But I’m most suspicious of @dekaku (inactivity), @Enginish (refusal to yield information, and last second ninja of CIC and CQ also happened in the dying seconds of the day once again.), and @Nos_Fi, who although new has made only a scant few posts but has been following the game seemingly closely. Obviously since none of them have said much I don’t have much to go on. I guess @Arkenbrien can be included in this as well.

But I think we should kill Enginish first.

Honestly I have no idea why this works, but all I did was after I hit the ‘log on’ button, I hit the X in the upper right (closing the window), then clicked the community (forum) button, bringing me to the forums. For whatever reason, I was logged on. I logged off and tried to get back on, and this method worked again. It’s probably a bug that prevents the “log on” button from closing/refreshing and redirecting to the forums.

I wouldn’t say that I am inactive, but thank you for your input. Anyway, my main problem is, that by the time voting enters the hot phase with people making good points about voting for/against other people, I am usually already asleep. I don’t want to make uninformed votes that leads to lynching the wrong one (like mattk50), let it be that case, time for uneducated guess at topperfalkon, because he’s been accused a lot. Happy now Lysk?
