The Wolf Game - Murder Party - Day 5 - Infiltrators and Nafen win!

And here was me thinking that pulling an all nighter would give him plenty of time to formulate a response… No matter.

Changing my vote to King_Cosmos.

So. I see the merit of the plan but I choose not to support it. Troughout the day I didn’t really see a transition from initiall suspicion on Cosmos to him being a clearer candidate. The whole role thing is one thing but is based on a huge assumption, that the GM either created a game with some roless or one without any at all, one that does not have to be true. I do respect Lysks taking limitedresponsibility though. That speaks for him. But could also be part of a grander plan.
Anyway. I’m interested what Cosmos will answer.

On another note, Terran didnd’t show up the whole day. He may have been blocked, like we have seen in past games. I give him a pass for today but tomorow I really expect him to explain his absence as well as give his full input of the time he was absent.

Following this I want to hone down on the people I have been getting suspicous off. The edge group. Specifically nafens posts. Seing how he probably is asleep I will change focus to Ovog. There’s quite a lot going on. Why don’t you have anything to add?

Hmm he migh also not be arround.
Anyway edgey people. Speak up!

I’m confused at Cosmos’ lack of further input. I think Lysk’s plan has merit, Martin is unlikely to leave some players without any role at all - or if he did he would introduce another system for them to interact with such as events or rooms which I do not believe are in this game.

I hesitated because I hoped Cosmos would reveal his role, even if he is a powerful human it makes sense for him to do so at this point.

I too would like to hear input from Ovog and Terran.

At this point you’re just casually dismissing the most obvious arguments against playing with all cards on the table.
we can EASILY see that the poll was manipulated.
If that wasn’t obvious to you before now, I see little reason to follow your lead. Of course it’s manipulated.
Also, even if any roleless players would contact you, you would have no garuantee at all that they weren’t just lying to shield Cosmos. This entire plan makes no sense and I don’t understand how you and anyone else can follow it.
Exactly. All that has been provided is based upon assumptions and personal information that Lysk claims to have gathered from everyone else. I see no reason to support this action, or change my vote from Lysk. I would like to hear what Cosmos has to say, too, but it seems that it’ll be a close one.

Another point that has just occured to me is this: What if Lysk has an ulterior motive? He has been hellbent on gutting Cosmos, and I’ve seen these kind of roles before in different games. What if they are rivals and their goals are the death of one another?

To me, it is really suspicious that Lysk is pushing this hard for the knowledge of human roles, it could very well be a double ploy.

I’m not really convinced Cosmos is a wolf yet, shame he didn’t get to offer more input, since the sun is almost below the horizon, and it seems he will get the axe today.

What everyone that opposes Lysk right now feels to me like a natural reaction against an all out effort to try and convince people He is in our side, and if we doubt him we’re just fools, since that attitude seems overly pushy and aggresive. Just seems too suspicious to me, but maybe i’m ignoring something on all of this.

(Also, all this Lysk says about knowing enginish and cosmos IRL and talking with them about the game, isn’t agaisnt the game somehow? I don’t know how you treat it, but it feels like a bit of cheating)

It’s only against the rules if they reveal something they shouldn’t (e.g. if Enginish revealed something now that he is dead). Talking in private messages is alsoy allowed, chatting to people face to face is just the same (and I can’t police either).

Good point. He was pretty critical to the poll yesterday, so he should chime in today. @TerranAmbass where are you? It doesn’t look that convincing for you to be missing the entire 48+ hours without commenting on something that possibly resulted from a plan you started… (the poll)

In his defense, I was waiting on Ovog as the sole remaining player to report in to me with their role status (aside from Nafen) because he had not logged in. I think he was probably just busy, or perhaps lurking without logging in.

That said, I can now reveal to you all that literally EVERY player in the game excepting for two: Jubba and Nafen have reported to me their role status.

Of the 14 players that we can account for, only ONE claims to have no role. That is Cosmos. 1/14 is pretty suspicious guys, come on. I just don’t see how anyone can not think that. I’m not saying 100% that cosmos is a wolf, and actually I’m gonna be a little disappointed if he is. It would have been great for me and him to be able to trust each other. I wanted to prove that he was telling the truth to me so that I could trust him. Instead I’ve only found that he has probably been caught in a lie.

But he has already flat out stated that he has no role and has maintained this from the beginning of the game…

But as you can see, EVERYONE has a role, that means that your argument falls flat. If everyone has a role, then any target would have been a good target for the wolves, despite the risks.

I was suspicious of it at first, but now im convinced. If it was manipulated, we have to ask why someone would manipulate it in that way. My only plausible conclusion is that someone wanted us to believe that there were multiple roleless humans. Only Cosmos would have a reason for that to be the case, so he must have manipulated it.

I’m very suspicious of you right now, BrickWall, and I hope you know that everything you are saying today is going to lead me in your direction tomorrow if Cosmos turns out to be a wolf. I honestly can’t see a reasonable argument you’ve made all day except “This plan makes no sense to me, and so I think you should die”

I’m just so confused as to how you all come to these kinds of conclusions. I mean honestly. It’s like you didn’t read my posts at all. Did I post too much today (probably)? I dont get your reasoning.

??? I’ve said from the get go that if Cosmos is not a wolf then you’ll have a strong argument against me tomorrow, and that is a risk I’m willing to take. I’m betting the farm on him being a wolf, because I believe strongly that he is. It seems highly improbable that he is not a wolf at this point.

How is talking privately cheating? I instant message on steam and discord with other players besides them, and I don’t see that as any different. We never access the game pages while were IRL so its fine. We just chat amongst ourselves.

On this point, is just that on these kind of games (Other ones that I’ve played) when people start chatting not using the tools (like the forums), there is always some meta behind the scenes (Not that I’m accussing you of this, I just wanted to know what the deal with that was)

You are the prominent role today, since you are leading the charge. In this scenario where everybody is suspucious of everybody, and everyone advances with caution, this charge you’re leading could mean you don’t fear dead by wolf. You can’t blame people for not being suspicious of your willingness to go to the spotlight, as Enginish did.

Since you ask, I’ll tell you, as OVOG stands for “Obscure Visualizer Originator Generator” Said Mr. Ovog, pointing a finger at the american, as he felt his way of telling people he built sunglases was the coolest thing ever.

Lysk woke up from his sleep. He knew it was morning, but it didn’t look any different than when he had laid down. Living underground takes some getting used to. He turned on the light next to his cot, and got up, dressing, and walking out into the hall sleepily. His attention was caught by the commotion in Q Branch. No sooner had he started walking over towards the group, Arkenbrien’s head exploded and covered everyone with chunks of brain matter. Well, at least he was shielded from the worst of the giblets by the other staff members in front of him. He wiped a piece of white brain tissue off his brow with an annoyed look on his face. What a way to start the day. And you call these people secret agents? God help us all.

He wondered off into the meeting area and sat down, beginning to work on his phone, hacking into as many systems as he could. And exploit here, a phishing attempt there, a bit of social engineering… It was at some time during all of this, a rather fabulous police officer burst through the door with a whine, and immediately fainted. He stared, jaw open, in awe at the ridiculousness of the man. After a moment, he shook his head and continued, and before long he had what he was looking for.

He stood and announced to the room “Fellow… Ahem… Agents, as you were, as you are aware we have traitors in our midst. I’ve been doing some… Research… And I’ve concluded that someone yesterday was lying to us about their intentions here. It seems that all of us have received orders for our stay here… Except for the Special Envoy from America. In fact, he seems to have no orders what-so-ever. He was either sent here as punishment for his incompetence, or… More likely and more sinister… He is an infiltrator!” He pointed his finger directly at King Cosmos, with a serious face.

The entire room erupted in a flurry of arguments and accusation, and Lysk, somewhat bewildered, began to have to fight off accusations pointed at himself. Today was going to be chaotic.

Man, things got really busy and heated since my last appearance. Unfortunately I really have nothing new to add since I haven’t had the chance to do any info gathering behind the scenes. All I can really do is reiterate that I am in fact a roleless human. I have the alignment message for the humans and beyond that I swear I have no idea who the wolfs are. I really got nothing else for ya.

For now I’m going to have to cast a defensive vote for LyskTrevise and hope something else works out in my favor. However, IRL coming in to play, my boss made a sudden trip out of town (thus my lengthy disappearance yesterday) and I’m going to be working a lot more this week to cover. I’m sorry to say even if I somehow survive my time is going to be much more limited that I had once thought.

(#)Targets - Voters

(2)Lysk - BrickWall, Cosmos
(6)Cosmos - Lysk, Noble, Sane, Topper, Hollifer, Nafen
(1)Ovog - Lomsor

Heres the updated vote chart. I just got a notification that I’ve posted 20% of the replies to this topic so I might need to stop posting so much… lol

Why were you in contact with Ark? What about?

The Day Is Over

Yes, it’s one hour late. Timezones are hard.

From the moment the router exploded and somehow splattered brain matter all over the staff Lysk Trevise took charge of the situation. A few other agents were suspicious, pointing out that as an information operations officer his job was deception though manipulating information - how did they know he wasn’t just an infiltrator trying to get their American special envoy killed?

Ultimately, however, the crowd began to come around to Lysk’s point of view. Casting suspicious glances at the American officer. Demanding to know what special skills he had even though he claimed to be a vanilla spy with no stand out abilities.

The lights dimmed, indicating the end of the day phase in the bunker and that was the signal to act. Lysk tackled King_Cosmos and, with the assistance of Topperfalkon and Noblebrutus, dragged him to the training area at the back of the Q branch offices. They kicked down the first door they came to and tossed him into a tank full of hungry sharks.

@TerranAmbass you didn’t post anything today. This is your one and only inactivity warning before you are killed or replaced.

 • King_Cosmos has been lynched
 • King_Cosmos was The Defector
 • The night will be 24 hours long. If you have a night action please contact me as soon as possible

It is now Night 2

Martin can you clarify, we didn’t get alignment from today’s lynch?

The Defector is his alignment.

The lights in the base flickered on and the agents began to emerge from their quarters. Special agent Skyentist walked down the corridor towards the shooting range - after the tension of yesterday it had been decided there would be a casual tournament this morning before breakfast. He walked into the shooting range to see a few other people had arrived before him - NobleBrutus and hollifer stood by the gun cabinet, inspecting the rifles while Nafen stood in the corner looking unimpressed at all the cleaning up he was going have to do.

The competitors lined up and began warming up, shooting at wooden cutouts of past villains. As the fusillade stopped one of the cutouts fell over, revealing Support agent Megarith had been gagged and strapped to the back of it. During the warmup his body had been riddled with bullets…

 • TheBrickWall has been murdered by the infiltrators

It Is Now Day 3

Day will end in 44 hours

So… Last night was very eventful for me, as you may all be able to guess. I have some information that is going to be relevant for today, but I just want to start things off by saying that I had been in contact with BrickWall last night, and he seemed to have trusted me a lot more than yesterday. Well, make up your own minds:

I started things off by sending this message to him. I sent a very similar message to every player in the game:

So make of all of that as you will. I will post later about the rest of my developments last night once everyone checks in.

Did TheBrickWall trust anyone else with whatever he was going to tell Lysk? He seemed cautious of trusting anyone, so I’m not hopeful.
