There are two subreddits (and one of the subreddit is just a bot posting his videos) dedicated to him but they only rally to around 800 users total (unless there’s another subreddit I couldn’t find). Though having a Q&A with him while he tests the prototype (if he wants to) would be neat.
Yup, admins were totally fair.
*sighs*
What utter tossers
Well those guys have their campaign already finnished

Unfortunately moderators of a subreddit can do pretty much whatever they like, and that seems to include beeing total turds in this case. No reason to stay mad about it though. there are plenty of users on reddit that enjoy seeing new cool games.
That’s so bogus
I think the real lesson here is that you need to move to Finland and dye your hair blue.
(i suggested r/pcgaming somewhere beforehand, so not everyone)
I contacted the mods to ask about whether an AMA about the project would be allowed and the impression i got was your ama wouldn’t be deleted there for stupid reasons, they just want you to verify your identity. If you send them a modmail here that should be pretty simple to arrange. I think its worth another shot if you have the time, keep in mind this is a completely different mod team and a far more focused part of the site, it’s likely to be received well.
Additionally, since the KS has been up for a while now and many more have heard of I:B, now might actually be a better time to do an AMA than last week.
It may be beneficial to have a daily Q&A post and/or some kind of video log describing a new game feature each day in depth on /r/gaming. At least that would increase potential for exposure through Reddit, which could definitely be a massive source of potential interest. There are maybe other gaming websites where those posts could be duplicated on their forums as well. I think the kind of active responding devs do on this forum would be considered very positive if people could see that on a wider scale.
Someone asked why should they be excited for Infinity. I love the following response. It is short, concise, and sums up the game perfectly. This should be the 2nd sentence in the KS under ‘What is Infinity’ IMO
We’re working to recreate the epic space battles seen in popular movies and TV series such as Star Wars, Serenity, and Battlesctar: Galactica. Combined with our ability to handle seamless planetary transitions and our focus on perfecting space combat we’re going to create a well polished experience that really distinguishing itself from other space games. Our technology by itself provides an unforgettable experience and the media types that have received the prototype have spent entire days just flying around and exploring.
Srsly guys, this is your money statement. Send this wording in your emails when asking for coverage, etc. Repeat it over and over again.
