But I don’t know what to do to get his attention.
So it has been 8 days since the last significant publicity event, as can be clearly seen by the numbers of daily backers on Kicktraq. Do we still have any potential high reach streamers/news sites etc. in the pipeline that we know of, or are we entirely relying on pledge raises and the final few days kickstarter peak for the coming last week?
( E.g. Angry Joe and Total Biscuit seem to be both back from some off-time, but the first is busy covering Fallout 4 and the second does not take suggestions apparently and is busy with Blizzard stuff. Unless we have some secret commando Ninjas i guess nothing is coming from that direction. )
Anyone had any luck with high reach people, or sees an opportunity where we can gain some publicity in the remaining pre - final peak - time?

I hope this is the right place to put this, but I think it would be really cool if someone with the prototype made a time-lapse video kind of like some from the ISS:
It would absolutely entice some space fanatics, what do you think?

I suspect planets and stations are static in the current prototype. Might be interesting once they have proper orbits and rotation though.
You can simulate rotation by getting in orbit around a planet. Sure, day and night will always be in the same spot, but if the speed of the video is not too fast and it doesn’t include more than one orbit, then the difference won’t be too apparent.

Yup this is what I meant, actually getting into orbit as is in the prototype’s capability.
Honestly, 1 orbit in the ISS is only 90 minutes so it’s not really too apparent to a viewer from space either unless you’re an expert and really paying attention.
If the prototype had clouds, cities and aurora, then yeah that’d be cool. As it is, I think people would have no idea of the scale of what they’re looking at and just be saying it doesn’t look realistic - based on their flawed idea of what ‘real’ looks like.

In 90 minutes, the terminator moves about 2400km at the equator. At 45 degrees latitude, it’s about 1800km. These are distances that anyone with any observational skills is going to notice. From the ISS.
Just pick a planet (not a moon) and say that it’s tidally locked to the star.

I was speaking specifically with his example with respect to the sunrises and sunsets:
One could just as easily create an inclined orbit in the prototype to have the same effect. It’s the clouds, auroras, and thunderstorms that are going to be the sharpest differences between life and the prototype regardless.
Isn’t the gas giant the only planet in the prototype? The three other bodies are all moons of that gas giant.
