Hi everyone, this thread will serve as a temporary planning and co-ordination hub for future I-Novae community events.

Sunday, December 10th 2017 : Casual in game Meetup “Getting Organized”

12:00 PM Pacific Time (PST)
3:00 PM Eastern Time (EST)
9:00 PM Central European Time (CET)

The event will officially run for 1 hour
We won’t be hosting an official stream for this event, but you’re welcome to record / stream and take screenshots

Event Schedule

• The Gathering: Spawn a small ship and meet up with everyone in game. (Location TBD)

• Follow the leader, flying in open space and skimming Cinder’s surface

• Small squadron formation, Location TBD

• The Armada: Re-spawn as a Capital Ship of your choice, and meet up with everyone for a final Hurrah (Location TBD)

• Armada formation flight

• Final Battle, work as a team to engage the enemy

Again, this will likely take us beyond the 1 hour run-time

If one of the goals is to record some impressive video then I think the blue skins usually looks the best in photos. I’d avoid the green.

I agree. Blue or Red. Green is cool but a little extreme …

Except if we want to do some tricolor formation flying. That would be cool. Maybe next meetup.

If we aren’t all on the same team. Risk of being attacked by NPCs is pretty high. That’s why I’m mentioning it.

@Crayfish as well, I’m thinking Red team might contrast nicely against the background environments.

They also control Eupraxia station, which could be nice for battle respawns of we require more activities.

Yes, blue works well when you want the emphasis to be on the background visuals as the blue skin can make the ship disappear to some extent. Given that this event is going to be all about the ships, the red skin seems appropriate.

I’m planning on making an edited compilation, once we’ve had a few meet ups.

I’d like to see at least 30 participants, more would be better.

Another pre-alpha patch is on the horizon, and I’d like to get another official meetup organized around the same time as the patch release. (Possibly the same weend, or following weekend)

As soon as I have a definitive date for the next patch, I’ll organize another meet up on this thread. Stay tuned!
