If memory serves, INovae mentionned that the game should be availble on Steam at some point (probably after or during alpha). I guess it will be also available on the main site.
As the alpha is currently programmed for October 2016, I doubt you’ll see much of the game anywhere, except if you pledged enough to gain the “developper access”.
Steam is where I wanted it! 
It’ll be available on Steam at some point yet to be determined via Early Access as well as once it ships to retail.
