I’m sorry, I’ll split my posts in future.
I mean, if you open this thread on a mobile device, a lot of images load, it quickly uses up a mobile data limit. I’ll edit the title, just didn’t want to do it without you knowing.
I see. Sure, please edit.
Preferably some planetary close-up, high-res texture detail, foreground,
medium and far distance shots I presume?
Nice colour theme with these above. ‘Sunset Tar’
My Lord, you are so generous with alms.
Someone asked a question on the ED forums about how close to the surface are these last ash/Cinder shots taken from.
At what height from surface have those texture pics been taken? Are there any pics at ground level?
Image 01 is about 15 meters off the ground.
Image 02 is about 80cm off the ground
Image 03 is about 50cm off the ground
Image 04 and 05 are about 2 meters off the ground
Image 06 and 07 are about 1 meter off the ground
Image 08 is about 10 meters off the ground
Some high praise for I:B devs close ground work and lighting, and of course Spacejay for finding the right shots.
I figured I’d “document”(I just thought it was cool) the way your ingame eyes adjust to certain light levels. At the start of this, the star is the brightest object and everything else is too dark. As the star went out of my FOV, everything else began to brighten as the eyes adjusted to darkness. The last one is my new personal favorite shot because of the colouring.
Edit: I thought I got a dark shot with the star in it but apparently not.
These are very good.
Wow SpaceJay! Nice!!!
and clooooods!

Good time to show some real proper in-game PG screen shots this weekend for I:B, to help find some new pledges from SC/ED forums.
