Does anybody remember this picture from Infinity: The Quest for Earth? I first saw this back in 2006 and it sure got my imagination going. My favorite ship from this “original” lineup was the Intrepid Destroyer. I know we won’t see these in Infinity: Battlescape, but nostalgia is fun

Not sure I’ve ever seen that image before. Ship design quite a bit different to what we have now. The more industrial look we have now has grown on me.
I like the current ship design better as well. Aside from the Rocinante in “The Expanse”, this is one of the nicest looking ships I have seen:

My favorite was probably Spectre’s Bellerophon battleship, it’s not on this picture though. I think my favourite ship here is the Remora, light asymmetry spices things up nicely.
Current designs are probably better because of the increased polygon budget.
