New kickstarter target date?

I’m not sure you could call it a USP (Unique Selling Point) when No Mans Sky already has it (albeit with toy planets with smoggy atmospheres), while both Elite Dangerous & Star Citizen do plan to do it (better than NMS) (and within a year or two - i.e. the same kind of time scale as Infinity Battlescape is likely to have).

Although I doubt any of those will be quite as pretty (nor physically accurate) as Infinity. I suspect Infinity’s “unique” selling point will be it’s combination of features (and design choices), rather than any one particular thing.

Hello!

I just wanted to ask if there will be a 2014 retrospective… (and how soon…)
And in general… any small message regarding dev. process lifts my spirits and keeps me hyped.
I’d love if anyone from the devs could leave a small blurp/tweet on whatever they were working on that day.
Waiting is… painful

Thank you.

Ya. (needs 10 key strokes O.o)

Yes, that happens iirc usually around the end of Jan.

The footage takes a few hours to render. It’s not a big deal.

I predict the announced kickstarter date will be Q3 2015 or “late 2015” and then when that time comes they’re gonna make another announcement of why they’re not gonna do a kickstarter anymore and present their new plans.
Pray that I’m wrong.

How is that an issue? The video is, what, 15 minutes? that should put it at around 1GB. You can make it unlisted for a day while it processes. Are you guys on a 5Mbits connection or something? You can always release the 60fps version on a torrent at the same time if you’re worried. Or render it at 30fps normally and say “60fps version coming next week” and upload the 60fps after the 30fps.

I think releasing at 60fps would be much better from a marketing standpoint despite the small setback of uploading/processing
