Please add a “Mark all as read” button, right now i have 16 Unread and 5 New topics i really wish i could clean them all out. 
The I-Novae team are very unlikely to work on the forum in the immediate future as Discourse is constantly being developed and updates being released frequently.
If you want to suggest a change to Discourse, the best thing to do is post over at meta.discourse.org.

In summary, you can change which posts are marked ‘new’ in your preferences. You can also change the conditions for a thread being ‘tracked’ (‘Unread’ only shows unread posts from tracked topics).
