Hey guys! Excited you finally made it! Congrats to the whole community. I wasnât able to pledge because of the silly capital controls here in Greece (Iâm pretty sure nobody from our side of the world was allowed to pledge) both my credit cards were denied by KS, until it finally came to me and I phoned my bank to ask why. Itâs good to see that my help wasnât needed, but Iâd still like to pledge to send some moâ down your way and get an early access to the game. Can we work this out somehow? Wish I could paypal.

you can paypal after ks ends⌠tiers will be more expensive and you wont get the interceptor, but yes you can contribute then

The devs stated that they will make post ks funding possible (including paypal), although at a slightly higher price (a dev at one point threw a 10% increase for non-ks backer into the room, but nothing is set in stone, so it might be more or less). So you still should be able to get access to the alpha during the post ks period.
I see! Well, thatâs a bit unfair for my situation ( I get the impression that nobody from Greece was allowed to KS because of capital controls) but I will contribute anyway!

Itâs nothing Inovae can do anything about really. Kickstarter doesnât allow paypal 
and having both a private paypal option and kickstarter might have been risky as the kickstarter might have failed due to people giving money through paypal privately instead of going through the KS, and then those who had payed through paypal wouldnât be able to get their money back if the kickstarter failed. So sadly the only option is paypal after with a bit higher price.

If you have a simple debit card (the electronic cash ones aka the ones people without cc use to get money from the atm or pay electronically at the grocery store) associated with your bank account, you might also try to use that one instead of the credit card. I think the gist of it was, that unless you have a maestro card, you should be able to use that card instead (sure they also say, that visa electron isnât supported, but someone recently mentioned, that kickstarter acceepted his visa electron, so give it a shot).
But yeah⌠Kickstarter is a huge douche for not offering pledging per paypal.
Thereâs also a thing called Debit MasterCard which I obtained as soon as I learned of it.
It works everywhere a MasterCard works and itâs still a debit card so anyone can have one.
Yeah but it still has the downsides of other additional cards. Unless it is partof your bank account, you pay extra in some way. May it be a monthly fee or something else. Youâre forced to give your personal details to yet another 3rd party which does who-knows-what with your data, etc.
Not to mention that Somnium probably wonât be able to find and activate a debit-mc in 24h. Somnium has to work something out with the stuff that is available right now. And on that front, a debit card is the best bet if the cc doesnât work.
Here in Lithuania Debit MasterCard is pretty much a standard card everyone ends up using because no one uses actual credit cards. So itâs my main card for everything. I have no idea how it is in Greece though.

He didnât say that 10% would definitely be the rate they use. The only thing thats pretty much safe to assume, is that they will make the âtiersâ more expensive for those who didnât back the game during the ks.
