Weapon range is definitely a point that needs to be present somewhere more prominent, we have a “low damage” indicator that fades in near the lead crosshairs but its not very informational or clear what it means at times.
Just because you paid money for something doesnt mean you have the correct answer to make it better or improve anything. Judging by your other post, most of your requests are actually completely unreasonable and would probably hurt your own experience. Removing the lead crosshair would only make it harder for you, 1 million points of energy is not going to do anything positive for game balance, and making steering superfast would kill off the close range position jockeying that happens sometimes, which is a fun part of the game you might not have seen yet.
In your other post you seem to value stubbornness and “never having your mind changed”, but i want to give you a sentence at least to point out that the smartest people are those who learn from new information and change their minds when it’s correct to do so. Valuing stubbornness is kind of ridiculous.
with all due respect sir i played world of warplanes/war thunder/star citizen so its not like its hard to under stand flying and maneuvering in this game once i understood what was up and down and if
you keep down grading me like this telling me i don’t know what the hell i am doing is only going to make you look foolish i think you better get over the fact that you feel i don’t know how to fly because you are very sadly mistaken on that part
and as for that action i mapped that to my middle mouse button because a lot of things happens fast when in the cockpit view
I am a little bit confused by your hostility, and I am sorry If you feel that my post was belittleling you, which wasn’t my intention at all.
The aiming and gameplay in this game is not more difficult than SC, War thunder etc., so it’s a little confusing why you claim that you can’t take down a ship and simultaneously want to make it even harder/downright impossible by removing the lead recticles.
kind sir would it be possible to move that info to the hud interface and keep it there at all times because when i am busy targeting and shooting i am more often then not in chase mode at all times when i am in a engagement and on where you could put it would it be possible to put it center and to the bottom of the cross hair say like a few inchs with bright blue lettering and why blue lettering is to let you know you have something locked all ready
because just like in all of those games it makes my eyes go cross eye and thats not a joke ether the leading cross hair is also a distraction for me its like i am trying to fight with 2 cross hairs rather then one and i am use to one cross hair type combat i also play a lot of ww2 flight games i love to be a gun fighter a lot thats why i vouch for fixed cross hair fighting very heavily
if you never have heard the customer is always right rule next time you try to return something back in real life and said place you boughten from says they can’t reimburse you and when you get annoyed make sure what you have told me here today remember that
Fortunately i am not the developer, just another customer, and it’s me who is telling you that your demand would make it worse for everyone else, including me.
come on play your more smarter then this why do you got to go down this road and stall me out like this your smart enough to call me out like you did in your 1st topic why you playing games on me
I am just trying to understand what your issue is and if I maybe have missunderstood your first statement.
I am not sure if the indicator that tells us where to shoot at is the problem, or the default control mode that has a crosshair that is dragged around by a circle.
what i am requesting is not going to change much if anything my requests are asking for a addition i mean i seen with the other modes are and how fast the steering already is for them i am asking for that same steering mode to be applied for direct flight mode
i don’t need flight modes showing me a arrow which way the target went if i was paying attention when i am engaged i see where the target went its not like its hard to see some things in this game even more so small space craft unless the space craft has a cloaking device then thats where i agree with you there then
Turn rates are consistent across flight modes already.
The direct flight mode is just as fast a the default “leading aming cross”.
Also I think that what you mean by “leading aiming cross” (your name for the default flight mode apparantly) I had thought to be the shot indicator when targeting enemy ships. Hence the confusion on all sides.
yes sorry everyone i sorry i forgot to tell that point as well thank you for bringing this up argo one of the other first things i did long before i took flight was to check for the steering and to see what is what i went even as far as
to increase my windows mouse pointer speed and in direct flight mode the turning speed was still the same for me and i had all of the slider bars in the launcher all the way to right
what i do is pretend the leading cross hair is not there and focus on my aiming cross hair and the target lock cross hair because i already know that i need to lead to begin with in the first place i am old school space gun
fighter i played games in the past where there was no leading aiming cross hair and thus its already in my blood but now that there is a leading aiming
cross hair in a lot of games now and days it forces you to play that if you don’t shoot that leading cross hair then your not going to connect and or damage the target
also play i don’t like to treat persons dumb and i think your someone that knows what is up and down thats why i was not answering some of your questions because i felt you knew where and what i was talking about its not like i am trying to talk to you in centauri republic language here
Yes because your aiming skills aparently aren’t that good without a leading aiming cross hair, so if you want to play that way: Just don’t press the target button and suffer the consequences.
Upping damage output so that your one odd shot that does connect kills the enemy surely isn’t the answer here.
