Hello. I’m a follower of the development, since the ‘kickstarter’… some Luna ‘thing’ supporter; beta access.
*Infinity the Quest for Earth - long time ago (if I’m not wrong on the name)…
I know that the game still is on Alpha stage but, the development already ‘passed’ the projected time, long ago. I don’t intend to spend 50 dollars to upgrade; not everyone as extra income, to spend on ‘games’.
So; is the development team, planing some ‘gift/candy’ to beta backers? Some ‘time limited/weekend’ access, for [Beta] accounts?
When Alpha overran the dates, the developers started to do Alpha-backer access weekends. I’m sure that you can expect the same as a Beta backer now Infinity: Battlescape is in Alpha. It is highly likely that - at some point - there will be Beta backer access weekends, where you will be able to download the game in it’s current alpha state and have a go.
The I-Novae team have been open and honest about dealing with delays. It is unlikely you will get any gifts (in game or otherwise), but they will try to be fair in terms of recognising your support!

When I’ve written « … ‘gift/candy’ … » I was not referring, to some ‘physical/in game’ items or anything like that… I was thinking on something like, a «full weekend Alpha access to Beta backers»… maybe?
Well; keep up the good work. The game is becoming simply, amazing! My only ‘problem’ is, the ‘cockpits’; the «old game engine» one, was more beautiful; a more photo real presentation. «Infinity» deserves superb ship models and cockpits, to accompany the outstanding solar system… all covered in some 4K textures
Yes, the first beta-access limited week-end is currently planned for mid september. Not set in stone though We want to have all major game features implemented ( at least in their basic version ) before we start beta week-ends.
