I’m not sure what to think of Scorn, honestly. It looks kind of boring. Of course, I never got into the horror genre, but even though they say it’s a horror game, I’m left searching as to why. However the quality of the design is top notch. To me, though, it looks disgusting. Maybe that’s the horror element …?

Scorn has an active kickstarter going a the moment. Oct 10th it ends.

There are various ways to make you afraid or unsettled. And in my opinion the most effective is fear of unknown.
This world, your imagination and good ambient sound …
You have nice recipe for good horror game.
What i disliked is the lighting, its way too bright.
Plus the weapons… i think they should have gone with Soma/Amnesia style without weapons. Or make them really unique and not just reskinned pistol and shotgun.
You know like the big gun with a shot extending its part and biting / eating the enemy. 
Small gun …i don’t know … perhaps lunging itself as a parasite and digging inside the enemy or just immobilising them. Ok these are just silly examples, but you get the point what i mean. The pistol and shotgun are simply immersion braking.

Q. What kind of level of acceleration and deceleration would the passengers inside be comfortable with that does not make them sick, and also not squash them on the rear of the shuttle as it accelerates. And how long would it take to get to that top speed in comfort. Its not like we are living in the era of Star Trek TNG’s space craft inertial dampening to soak up these physical effects on the human body.
