I think Flavien stated on discord that it’s a shadowing issue.

Okay, I found it: copy/paste from discord:

 yeah we talked about it a few times
 keith actually has an HDR monitor
 but we'll be focusing on gameplay rather than tech, for a while now
 we'll see after beta what we can do and how much time we have to resume working on graphics
 I need to fix the shadows too
 ...

just look at apcaship from 3rd person mode

Thanks SpaceJay and Arkenbrien. Have to shoot different angles because of flickering but it’s all good. Can’t wait until the textures and shading is done. :heart_eyes:
