I agree. I came back after initially seeing reviews many moons ago of the initial plans for this game. They were all positive, as was the open communications with the public the devs have. As a dev you might have a predisposition to remembering most the negative stuff. Seems at this point 9 month delays is nothing compared when you take a small dedicated team into account, and to other larger projects which also don’t tell you openly they are hitting network roadblocks the size of boulders that delay stuff for 2+ years, and which really need an engine update to get working as intended. (I’m not mentioning names).

The recent video of 300 bots May also have to be taken into account as a best best case?, as real world connections are always more difficult to manage.

It ultimately depends on the hardware and bandwidth of the server. Our goal is 200 players on a server that can be afforded by your average gamer. It’s possible we may host more powerful servers in an attempt to fit as many players into a single game as possible - we won’t know until the Beta.
