The Wolf Game - Murder Party - Day 5 - Infiltrators and Nafen win!

@Skyentist Surely you have something to add?

Actually since Terran is about to be removed from the game for inactivity is there any point in lynching him? Seems kind of pointless…

The Day Is Over

Pew
A golden bullet pierced my body. My existence finally ends.
For a split second I had access to all my past lives.
It was a plentiful life.
May the ones that are left find a way out of this hole a mile deep … or rather. Grave.

With information officer Lysk murdered by the infiltrators a somber mood settled over the base, no one wanted to take his role leading the investigation… As the tide turned against Lomsor special agent Topperfalkon suddenly got jumped from where he had been sitting - without a word of warning he pulled out a shiny golden gun and shot Lomsor between the eyes!

With Lomsor dead and not much of the day left the crowd of agents quickly came to a decision that the silence from TerranAmbass was too suspicious. The agents spread out, searching to find Terran wherever he was hiding in the base. Nafen and Ovog found him down on one of the lower levels repairing a bridge across a deep chasm, illuminated from below by the glow of magma.

Terran turned around as a heard them step on the bridge, seeing the look on their faces he adopted a combat stance and prepared to fight for his life…

  • TerranAmbassador has been lynched
  • TerranAmbassador was a member of staff
  • The night will be ~48 hours long

Please note the extended night. Skyentist has informed me he’s afk Friday and Saturday so I shall probably start the day late Saturday, and finish it normal time Tuesday.

The long night dragged on. The explosion had damaged the power systems of the base and the automatic system to engage day mode wasn’t working. Skyentist felt his way through the dark, he’d been cut off in a remote part of the bunker by a collapsed ceiling for days. Luckily he knew that somewhere in this section was the main breaker board and if he could just reset it and begin day mode the other agents would be able to quickly rescue him.

Topperfalkon snuck along a corridor in the dark, watching the world in stark shades of green and black through an experimental set of night vision goggles he had stolen from Q branch. He knew that someone was going to have to reset the bunker to day mode if anyone was to be safe and who better to take on such a dangerous mission than the internationally famous secret agent; The man with the golden gun - special agent Topperfalkon?

The infiltrators lay in wait in the main generator room, they knew that an agent would have to come here sooner or later. As a shadowy figure cautiously walked into the room they sprang their trap, knocking him out with heavy tools and strapping him to the high voltage wires.

When the lights came on the agents made their way to the generator room to see who had saved them. As they turned into the room they saw Skyentist, looking pale and staring up at the high voltage wires coming directly out of the generator. Wrapped up in the thick copper wires was the gently smoking corpse of Topperfalkon.

  • Topperfalkon has been murdered by the infiltrators

It Is Now Day 5

Day will end in 48 hours

You know what doesn’t help my chances of blocking a kill? Being jailed.

Well, a bad situation has just turned shittier. Are you back yet Skyentist? Also Ovog, I’m still kind of suspicious of you since you didn’t give a defense despite me saying you would have to. Given that Lomsor was shot yesterday and the lynch focus was shifted to Terran (despite the fact that he would be removed from the game for inactivity anyway) and in all that confusion you still didn’t address my concern, seems you’re avoiding it. Noble, I’m hoping that you just felt the need to protect Sane last night as he might have been a priority target, but the wolves turned out to target Topper instead.

I’m just waiting for my connection flight. From now on Cybercritic is in full command so please direct your attention his way. Good luck everyone!

Sane is a damn wolf that has brainwashed you @nafen, no way in hell are there two GAs and one with a backup. Also how convenient for a wolf to claim he’s the GA and can tell alignment, a wolf knows alignment and he can choose who to kill.

Anyway there are two infiltrators still left and all three humans need to vote together, or we lose.

It’s a pity you just blocked my best chance to prove it. What did you expect jailing me would accomplish, other than get Topper killed?

Wat? Since when were there two GAs? Much confused. @Skyentist, @Ovog, come forth.

I feel this game was doomed from the start due to lacking levels of activity… Is there even a point watching it continue anymore? If nobody says anything then that’s it, game over. So speak up please guys, before it’s too late.

Running under the assumption that you are the only wolf, nobody would die at night and we would have lynched you today and won…

@Ovog

Please let us know where you stand. Even if you don’t want to make a vote yet. Leaving it until the last few hours of the day to say anything is pretty shit as it gives the rest of us no time to react. The whole reason the day is 48 hours long is so that some form of discussion can take place, despite us living in a wide range of time zones, or busy lives that limit the time some can access the forums.

Skyentist is still MIA it seems but you have looked at the forum multiple times since the day started.

@cybercritic

The idea that there was only 1 wolf left was flimsy at best, but you chose me as the most likely candidate? Your justification for jailing me just so happens to have left Topper completely exposed, who just so happens to have been the biggest threat to the wolves today.

Cyber, why were you under the assumption that He was the only wolf? It was almost proven (By rp) that there were 3, then 2 wolves left.

Also what is all this about the GA and a backup??, could you explain yourself better?

Suddenly all this sounds really really suspicious, like an animal backed into a corner.

I’m going to list all the players here, So I don’t get as lost.

Players:
-The_Sane, W.O. Logistics & Finance
-Nafen The Janitor
-Skyentist
-Cybercritic The Undercover organised crime investigator (1 Vote)
-Ovog

I’m personally suspecting of Skyentist and cybercritic as wolves.

RP doesn’t mean anything, you know that.

The jailer role that we inherited from Terran stops any night action on the person and stops any night action by that person, that includes wolves. It’s a jailer-GA role, we were the backup, our original role was to take the role of Dr No, who turned out to be Terran.

As for Topper and you Ovog, we couldn’t jail-GA either of you because the bullet exchange wouldn’t happen, I thought Topper took care of the wolves and promised to kill whoever they wanted. He was suspecting Skyenist and wanted to shoot him today, he somewhat trusted Sane and told him of his intentions.

Guardian Angel is a common role to have in these games, if I was making my role up I would be putting myself at massive risk of getting found out in the event another Guardian Angel came forward.

It’s not like I waited to see if one did appear before “claiming the name for myself”, Nafen knew my role day 2 and Lysk knew it night 2.

Wouldn’t it been better no night kills and as opposed to a night kill?

To me It would seem Rp means a lot, specially since martin puts so much effort in his rp sections, would he offer that information just to mislead us? He is just impartial, and since there was a wolf down, he put forth only 2 wolves. I would give this some importance.

Isn’t that usually what a jailer is? I have know games where there is a jailer type of rola, and a GA type of role.

I’m going to put my vote for cybercritic, since your arguments do not convince me for the moment.

Maybe Noble’s plan with the roles, was to feing inocence, in a very creative way.

You are inclined to believe what you want to believe, I can’t do anything about that except tell the truth, it’s your decision. I can tell you that this game will be over the following night if you vote us out.

As for the exact reasoning of jailing Sane, maybe @noblebrutus can elaborate on that if he has time, it was his idea.
