EDTracker Pro - affordable 3-axis head tracking

I wonder, as development progresses further down the road, could the dev’s consider supporting or testing out for themselves the EDTracker Pro, an open source project to provide simple, affordable 3-axis head tracking for PC gamers.

I’m holding off buying on until next year but have been following it since the beginning. A good 3 axis head tracker. DIY build or the ‘pro’ version for about £40+cable.

I believe it was Flavien or Keith in one of the videos that said TrackIR and the free alternative will be supported.
I am in the (very slow) process of building my own IR head tracker using the FreeTrack designs.

TrackIR has actually reached out to us and is going to provide us with a dev kit. EDTracker is something we would still need to look into more thoroughly.

Ok thanks for letting us know.

The the £45 EDTracker Pro will have to do for me.

Any chance on getting that billboard from TrackIR? That would actually work for ingame lore as well. “Use the best HUD monies can buy!”

A little update, separate websites for Pro (pre built) and DIY kit.

Website: https://edtracker.org.uk/20 for DIY kit.

Website: http://www.edtracker.co.uk/shop/products for the EDTracker Pro - pre-built kit and cable.

I have my DIY kit…I just need to make it first go without stuffing up the soldering :stuck_out_tongue:

When I eventually purchase one it will be the pre-built pro version.

Yeah I had to go the budget route. Pounds to AUD is a killer
