It’s really disappointing that the kind of argument you find in crappy teenage forums would be what you seem to be choosing here.
Go ride in a warbird. They’re not perfectly smooth as the digital feel you have with mario kart or the current prototype. Yes it’s a prototype and will change. But as it is the comparison is accurate.
Ships as unaerodynamic as the Hellion would not be smooth rides, and if the attitude jets would be what smoothed things out, you would at the very least have the racket of their staccato and the flowing noise of air turbulence in the background.
